Adventure

We ran away from the town,
towards the airport,with our bags.
He wanted me to have the crown
and I never wanted to leave him back.

His hand holding mine, tight.
We look at each other with hope,
maybe it's us versus the world fight,
and so we had a plan to elope.

We enter the plane, bags in hand.
We're still not sure about this,
"Is it okay to leave our land?"
"Let's just go," he said with a bliss.

The ship is in the sky,
I smile as we head towards NY.
We reach the strange land,
"It's an adventure."he held my hand.

We danced the drunk nights,
and settled ourselves in daylight.
We're in settled and planned.
Still our adventure,breathing on this unfamiliar land.
